WD Door is pleased to announce our merger with Kinzler Construction Services. As you may already know, Kinzler Construction Services is a family and employee-owned construction subcontractor based in Ankeny, with branch locations across the state in Ames, Cedar Rapids, and Waterloo – as well as Denver, CO, and Tyler, TX. Kinzler is a leading installer of insulation products, gypsum concrete, and fireproofing. The company also distributes a full line of construction materials, including drywall, steel framing, acoustical ceiling tile & EIFS. 

Seamless Transition for Customers

This merger further strengthens our ability to serve builders and homeowners across the state of Iowa and beyond. WD Door (and our sister company Doors by George in Cedar Rapids) have developed a reputation built on quality and service, led by Steve Bouchard and Jeff Myers. Steve and Jeff will continue to lead this division of the business as General Managers well into the future. All 50+ WD Door and Doors by George team members are being retained and the change will be seamless for customers.

We will work closely with you to make the integration process as smooth as possible. A few important notes effective January 1:

  • Invoices and billing will now come from the Kinzler branch support office in Ankeny.
